Sundridge is a small village on the A25 east of Sevenoaks, to the east of Brasted, its close neighbour.

It has two attractive pubs and is close to both Emmets Garden and Chevening House.

The History
Combe Bank School in Sundridge was once the home of Dr William Spottiswood, Queen's Printer and President of the Royal Society. He entertained all the great scientists of his time there: people like Darwin, Huxley and Herbert Spencer. When the house became the first locally to be wired for electricity the work was supervised by Michael Faraday himself. Later the house was owned by Robert Mond, one of the founders of Imperial Chemical Industries.
