Research "I live in California but my family originates from Sevenoaks. My surname is SNOOKS which I believe is a derivation of SEVENOAKS. Do you have any information on this?" Photographs We can email digital photos of houses, churches, schools and other landmarks in the area and a small charge is made for this service. We can also email photos of gravestones (if legible) from local graveyards. As we are amateur photographers we only charge a basic fee of £30 which covers the first hour of the assignment and all travelling costs. For assignments taking longer than one hour we charge an extra £20 per hour. We will always agree with you a price before taking your commission. "My family name is BOAKES and many of my ancestors came from the Ide Hill, Goathurst Common and Weald areas. We have the name of a cottage where they lived at one time. Could you find out if it still standing and take a photo if it is?" Once we have taken the photographs we will place low resolution thumbnails here. When you are happy all you need to do is send us payment by cheque drawn on a UK bank account or by money order and we will email the pictures by return. |
