Literature Class
Would you enjoy discussing books in some depth with an experienced tutor's guidance?

Our WEA class studies texts chosen to illustrate a theme. This year its title is 'Unwillingly to School'.

We will look at 6 or 7 texts which have an educational setting, or which explore educational practices and their effects on individuals and on society. Our selection ranges from Shakespeare to Muriel Spark, and from the hilarious (Alan Bennett, 'The History Boys') to the chill and disturbing (Ishiguro, 'Never let me go'.)
